Spa Hotel Radium Palace (Jáchymov)

The Spa Hotel Radium Palace offers a complete spa package to its clients, i.e. treatment, accommodation and meals.

In order to build this spa hotel a Limited Company was founded in Vienna in 1910, with Count Ernst Sylva Tarrouca as its president. The prestigious Viennese architect Burian was put in charge of the construction. The Palace hotel, built in neo-classical style, was completed in 1912 and furnished with all the luxury of the time. As far as spa procedures are concerned it belonged to the best Europe could offer.

The thorough renovation and update carried out in 1996–1997 improved the level of the services offered, while at the same time preserving the unique historical charm of this impressive building. The interiors with their original architectural detail and stylish marble tiling will appeal to the taste of even the most demanding clients.

Accommodation

The accommodation capacity of the Radium Palace Spa Hotel is 305 beds. Category I.A: 15 single rooms and 90 double rooms, 8 of them suitable for wheel-chair patients. Category de luxe: 30 double rooms. Category Superior 18 double rooms. At the top of the price scale are 6 luxury suites. All rooms have a bathroom with a shower or a bath, WC, TV with satellite programmes, a refrigerator, a built in safe and a telephone.

Therapy

There is a 24-hour in-house medical cover. The complete medical services and therapeutic procedures are offered even to patients with severe afflictions.

Meals

Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in five elegant dining rooms.

Services

Clients can make use of the of our supervised car park, non-stop reception cover, Currency Exchange office, library, Business Centre, hairdresser pedicure and a cosmetic salon, as well as a choice of extra spa procedures. They also have access to the new „Little Water World“ – swimming pool, steam or dry sauna, Jacuzzi, Kneipp’s pavement and a mini-bar. Free Internet access is available from several public locations.

Leisure Time Activities

Our guests may relax on the sundeck that has views of the garden, in the glazed lobby bar with its wide selection of refreshments, or in our large hall. Dance lovers will have an opportunity to dance to live music in the hotel dance hall. Entertainment and concerts take place in the concert hall that has excellent acoustics.
