Mezinárodní hudební festival Český Krumlov

This year, the Český Krumlov International Music Festival took place in the unique area of Český Krumlov and its vicinity from July 18 to August 23. Nearly thirteen thousand listeners heard 26 concerts of mainly classical music, though other genres such as jazz, rock, musicals and folklore music were also represented. A great number of the music world’s outstanding figures appeared on the concert stage of the 17th annual event. Some are world renown, but don’t come often to the Czech Republic and some visited for the first time ever.

Beautiful music in inspiring historic setting.

Leading artists from ten countries of the world are going to appear in twenty-four concerts of the 16th Festival. The Spanish Evening and the Irish Night, programs garnished with tempting gastronomy, will smell of foreign culture, which is however very close to us.
